Happy Holidays Everyone! We wish you all a joyful end to the year and a Happy New Year. We at Lancaster Avenue Business Association started the “Pay the bill program” as a way to help support various local businesses on Lancaster Ave recently. This program was established to help businesses pay a bill associated with their business. Sponsors (Drexel University, American Campus Communities, FS Investments, and Univest) have donated funds to this initiative to show support to local businesses on the Ave. Large franchises were not included in this initiative.
How This Initiative Worked
Local businesses provided a copy of a bill, i.e. electric, gas, water, or phone. The business then received $50-75.00 to help pay the bill, depending on how many businesses submitted the paperwork. Also included in the program, we provided businesses with PPE Supplies worth over $100.
