On Friday, November 19th, 2023, during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), LA21-CDC launched the PHL-PAC (Philly Providing Access to Capital) event.
The program aims to assist underserved entrepreneurs and small business owners in becoming capital-ready by providing necessary technical assistance and connecting them to mission-driven lenders.
Organizations such as the East Falls Development Corporation, the office of Congressman Dwight Evans, Lower North Philadelphia CDC, ACANA International Food Park, Tacony Development Corporation, Women’s Opportunity Resource Center and the Department of Commerce were in attendance, and deliberated strategies to provide small businesses with capital readiness.
